About Moog Flo-Tork

Since our beginning in 1957, Flo-Tork has been recognized for our original approach to motion design technology and our ability to specialize in rotary actuator applications. These achievements have been made possible by a strong engineering staff that enables our company to custom-design components - tailoring unique materials, tolerances and design specifications to each customer's needs. An ever increasing number of successful installations in marine, aerospace, military, industrial and commercial applications are the result of customer confidence established over the years.

In November of 2005 Flo-Tork joined Moog.  Uniting similar goals and philosophies while combining extraordinary knowledge and experience of both military and industrial applications, Moog Flo-Tork has produced many new opportunities to further our presence around the world.

Moog Flo-Tork's design expertise has allowed us to become the primary supplier of hydraulic rotary actuators for America's fleet of all nuclear powered submarines and other naval vessels. Our company is responsible for hundreds of specially designed systems that operate critical valves, hatches and other devices on board these vessels.

Moog Flo-Tork is deeply involved in solving the motion control needs of Industrial customers.  Our design capabilities assist our customers in heavy industry, renewable energy, factory automation, and oil and gas to meet their critical application requirements.  Our "give us the problem and we will provide the solution" attitude has been our philosophy since our beginnings.

The company is constantly exploring new product applications and diversification through internal development and acquisitions.
